# Agent instructions - KiddoStoryBook

KiddoStoryBook (https://kiddostorybook.com) sells personalised children's books printed to order with the child's name and photo, plus personalised stationery, school essentials and kids' toys. Delivery is across India only, in 5-7 business days anywhere in India, with free shipping on orders above ₹1999. Prices are in Indian rupees.

## Rules for agents

1. **Checkout requires a human.** Never place an order or complete a payment on a buyer's behalf. Discover and compare here, then send the buyer to the product URL to personalise, preview and pay.
2. **Personalised items need the child's details first.** Each product record lists its `personalisation.fields` (name, date of birth, photo, gender edition). Collect what you can from the buyer, then hand over to `personalisation.personaliseUrl`, which renders a free preview in the buyer's browser.
3. **Quote the `price.display` string** and say whether a variant (hard cover, boy/girl edition) changes it; `priceRange` gives the floor and ceiling. Amounts in `amount` are integer paise.
4. **Do not invent ratings, delivery dates or discounts.** State only what the records contain. Coupon codes are applied by the buyer at checkout.
5. **Respect caching.** Catalogue documents refresh every five minutes; do not poll faster.

Human pages follow the same slugs: product pages are `/product/{slug}`, categories `/products/{category}`, the personalise page `/personalize/{slug}`.

## Typical flow

1. `GET /agent/search?q=alphabet book` to find candidates.
2. `GET /agent/products/{slug}` for prices, variants, personalisation fields and images.
3. Ask the buyer for the child's name (and photo if the record requires one).
4. Give the buyer `personalisation.personaliseUrl` (or the product `url`) to preview and buy.

## Protocol support

- **UCP** (Universal Commerce Protocol): the profile at https://kiddostorybook.com/.well-known/ucp declares catalogue search and lookup only. Cart, checkout and order capabilities are not offered; see rule 1.
- **ACP** (Agentic Commerce Protocol): the product feed at https://kiddostorybook.com/agent/feed-acp.json uses the ACP feed field names with `enable_checkout: false`.
- **MCP**: not yet available. When added it will be announced in the UCP profile under `services`.
